Total scammers
Total scammers. Products not received. Thank you to Pay Pal for getting me my money back. They rely on people not challenging them. I don’t expect a penny goes to the charity. These people need investigating.

Worst experience ever
Worst experience ever. Website said card declined and order not placed. However, money taken from account. Contacted them twice now first told it was an error on website and money would be refunded 24-48 hours. Second rather rude email tells me it is up to my bank to refund. Bank say it is the Poppy Shop to refund. No order and no money. One way to get money I suppose…. but not a good way for a charity to act or get funds. Been a supporter for years, not happy.

I'm a veteran and homeless and looked to the RBL for help along with other charities and have been told that there's nothing they can do for me. Their website is a total fabrication. Where does all the money go that they collect?
Tip for contacting Poppyshop
I too suffered the fate of many reviewers in not having my order delivered, and not having my initial email contact responded to. However, when I contacted them a second time, instead of using their online form, I created and sent an email directly from Windows Mail to both poppyorders{at}britishlegion.org.uk and poppyshop{at}britishlegion.org.uk. In this case, I did get a response within 24 hours apologising and saying a replacement order - which I got within 48 hours - would be sent as soon as possible.
It may be that their contact form on their website is not working properly - hence why so many people have not had replies about non-delivered items. So my advice is to contact them directly by sending an email direct from your email system.
Clearly, there is still a problem with non-delivery of items - hence only two stars.
Very happy with products

Ordered a number of products, all arrived on time and in excellent condition.
The Poppyshop is absolutely rubbish
The Poppyshop is absolutely rubbish. I paid £25 for a Poppy brooch & received a tiny pin. They know it’s their fault but yet I have to wait for a month after I return the tiny pin to have the right one posted to me. Not good customer service at all & I won’t be buying there again.

Corrupt
Millions in the bank "for a rainy day", 6000 ex servicemen living on the streets... and you go and spend £100,000 on a new logo. You are an utterly corrupt disgrace.
If it is true what is being reported…
If it is true what is being reported today in the press that the British Legion spent £100,000 on a new logo then I will never donate to them again, they are off my list of charities, and whoever is in charge of the British Legion should either step down or else be sacked for presiding over such a preposterous use of public money.
I thought I was the only one!
Just like those who have written before me I bought two items from this fraudulent shop, which never arrived. Three e-mails later I am told replacements will be sent, however the revised invoice shows only one item and no postage costs, even though I have paid them. SUPRISE ....I still have not recieved any items or any replacements or any refunds. Never again, and to think I was going to include an organisation of such ineptitude in my will.

Order never recieved
Ordered 2 football poppy pins. Have never received the poppies and although I have had 1 reply asking me if I have received my order the 3 subsequent emails have never been acknowledged. Incredibly disappointed especially as times are difficult and for some money is limited. Will think again before ordering in the future

We have the same problem payed for a poppy for the car.
Not received it and we paid around £3.99 for postage.
Will not use again.
Bad Service
Placed an order on 30th October for several poppy pins and received an email on 1st November that the order had been dispatched.
On 11th November I have still not received my order and have not received any reply to 3 emails sent to them.
Terrible service and won't be using them again. There are other military charities who can receive my business next time.
Never arrived!
Pleased I've made a donation for a good cause but I have not received the items ordered. I had email to say they were despatched on the 3rd Nov and today is the 10th Nov. At 92 years of age I wanted to wear a poppy on the 11th November, I doubt I will be around next year so I'm very sad.

Like others before me
Like others before me, I thought I was supporting veterans and ex service personnel, so usually buy pins and or brooches every year. This year I decided to support by buying online (reluctantly because previously orders havent been received), I'm just glad I didnt spend the required over £50 to get free postage. Still waiting for my order, over a week later, who knows what method the Royal Mail use, or have the Royal Mail stolen it (not unusual). I wont be buying a poppy or anything from the Poppy Shop or British Legion again, after reading about the millions they have in reserve and that they dont help veterans, ex service personnel or whatever. I'd rather go direct to another smaller charity.
